Thank you so much Lincoln High School and Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative!

Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative was proud to donate more than 130 cereal boxes to Lincoln High School for its Knock Down Hunger event benefiting the Lincoln Food Pantry. We are grateful for the opportunity to support efforts that help fight food insecurity and make a difference for families in our communities. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause.

Who says volunteer hours are only for Mondays?

Huge shoutout to Cecil and Tom for squeezing in some asphalt work between storms today and fixing a little ditch that was giving our mule team a big headache every Monday.

Thanks to their hard work, our Mondays just got a whole lot smoother at the pantry. We’re so thankful for volunteers who go the extra mile for our neighbors!

The final box of cereal (to match our goal) has arrived from Mayor Vincent!! We are officially at 1,100 boxes! We know more will come in over the next couple of weeks and we will keep you posted as our collection grows. We are so thankful for our amazing community who helped us Knock Down Hunger!

Partners like Griffin Laser Engraving LLC are hard to come by.

For the past few months, we’ve been working to create a smoother parking system for the abundance of families using our pantry each Monday.

I made one phone call to Griffin Laser Engraving, and they absolutely showed up. Our parking has never been smoother or clearer thanks to the numbered parking signs they generously donated.

To have a successful pantry, you need community involvement, and Griffin Laser is a shining example.

About a month ago, we asked for help putting together food boxes for kids in our community, and y’all showed up in a big way.

Because of your generosity, we were able to get these boxes into the hands of families who truly needed them.

Thank you for caring, giving, and supporting the children in Lincoln. It means more than you know.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Every month, we put together Kids Bags for our local food pantry children filled with snacks and kid-friendly items. This month, we’re asking our community to step up with us.

We’re collecting items like:
• Granola bars
• Fruit snacks
• Individually wrapped chips
• Juice boxes
• Peanut butter crackers
• Easy, grab-and-go snacks

📅 Donations accepted through March 31!

It doesn’t take much to make a big impact for a child. Let’s show up.
