🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STONE BRIDGE CREEK HOMEOWNERS 🚨
The Board was made aware of delinquency and lien-related statements/notices recently mailed by McCombs that homeowners are now receiving. Multiple homeowners have already contacted us regarding balances, collection fees, lien-related charges, and notices they do not recall receiving.
We hear you, and the Board has concerns too.
The collection activity reflected on these accounts originated through McCombs Commercial Realty’s management and collection process prior to the Board's Delinquency & Collection Policy being implemented in May 2026. These were not new collection actions recently directed by the Board.
After reviewing accounts brought to our attention, we have identified concerns requiring further investigation, including the timing of collection activity, notices reportedly sent, fees assessed, and lien-related activity. We are reviewing affected accounts against the Association’s governing documents and applicable policies.

The Board will personally review affected accounts and request documentation from McCombs as necessary. We are not simply accepting these balances and charges at face value. We understand how upsetting it is to unexpectedly receive collection or lien-related charges, particularly if you believe you were never notified of an outstanding balance. The Board shares your concern and frustration.
Separately, we are negotiating proposed amendments to McCombs’ Management Agreement while also interviewing other management companies and evaluating whether early termination and transition is financially feasible. No final management decision has been made. We will continue updating homeowners as this review progresses.
