40+ years a PA. Still a NAPA member. Here's why. 🩺

Peter Hunt, PA-C at Children's Nebraska, remembers when PAs couldn't even practice in Lincoln — no hospital would take them. Today they're all over the state. That progress came from PAs investing in their profession through NAPA's advocacy at the legislature.

American Academy of Physician Associates and PAEA have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education to overturn a rule that excludes PA students from the professional student loan category — a rule that threatens the future of PA education and the healthcare workforce.

Congress established one standard, and PA programs meet it. Protecting the path into this profession protects the patients and communities who depend on us.

This is why advocacy matters — and why NAPA membership matters. When PAs stand together, our voice is impossible to ignore.
