If you are looking for something free, fun and outdoorsy to do this Friday (May 22) evening, check out the Westview Arboretum Walk & Talk, presented by Conservation Nebraska, from 6-8 p.m. The arboretum at Westview High School (75800 Summit Plz, Bennington), a PlantNebraska accredited arboretum, is a beautiful space with a rich diversity of trees, shrubs and perennial plantings. UNO Professor Emeritus Steve Rodie, who designed the space, and Dr. Rachael Arens of Westview High School, will lead an educational talk in room 111/112 and followed by guided walk through the arboretum. The event is free and open to the public.
