Join Conservation Nebraska in helping clean up the Near South / Everett neighborhood this Memorial Day Weekend!
Meet at the traffic circle at 11th & D street, Lincoln, NE, on Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00-12:00. Look for the Conservation Nebraska flag.
Clean-up supplies and snacks provided.

Looking for a local Troop?

We are growing Troop 30 at Grace. Any boys or girls (5th grade through 18 years of age) are welcome to join. Lots of fun and adventure in store for all. NSNA Plant Sale tomorrow, Saturday, May 2 from 9am to 1pm on 23rd & South Street! Get ready for spring planting and support the work of the Near South Neighborhood Association! We’ll have landscape perennials, annuals and vegetable starts, garden tools and patio/outdoor items. You never know what you’ll score from a historic neighborhood with generations of gardens!

The annual Near South Neighborhood clean-up day is Saturday, April 11th. Volunteers will be walking the streets and alleys collecting litter from 9 to 11:30 am. Dumpsters and recycling trucks will be located in the Lincoln High School parking lot on Normal Blvd, directly across from McDonald's. Near South residents can drop off items between 10:00am and 3:00pm. For paid members of the Near South Neighborhood Association (NSNA) there is no charge to drop off large appliances, TVs, or up to four tires. For residents but non-members of the NSNA there will be a $10 charge for each large appliance or TV and $6 per tire for up to four tires. All fees must be paid in cash when the items are dropped off. Rims must be removed from all tires. Tires are only accepted until the trailer is full
