It was wonderful to participate in Sacramento Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day and celebrate the amazing community supporting those affected by Parkinson’s.

We were proud to attend California’s Parkinson’s Advocacy Day on Monday at the Capitol in Sacramento. 💙

We participated in four meaningful meetings with lawmakers, sharing our story and advocating for better support and research for those living with Parkinson’s. We are discussed the reevaluation of paraquat (a widely used toxic herbicide) that is strongly linked to an increased risk of Parkinson’s (it is banned in over 70 countries).

This powerful day was coordinated by the Parkinson’s Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s, PANC, and organizations across California. We’re getting loud! 💙

We are honored to be invited to attend The 2026 Parkinson’s Policy Forum in Washington, DC this March, and yesterday we had the opportunity to meet with Deborah Swerdlow, Associate VO of Advocacy & State Policy with the Parkinson’s Foundation.

As co-founders of FISCH 4 Parkinson’s, these conversations reinforce how important it is to share stories, advocate for research and access to care, and support families impacted by Parkinson’s disease.

We are looking forward to learning, listening, and continuing this important advocacy journey.
