Hill Country Holiday is almost here! Be sure to visit the ATM machine before going home on Friday, as you'll want some cash available for all of the good food available throughout the weekend!

FRIDAY FEB. 3RD:

6:45pm - Crowning of King & Queen Peter & Ila Halby at Burnham Hall, during Military Whist card game. (Whist is a VERY easy game to learn, and is lots of fun. Great for all ages, young and not-so-young!) Sponsored by Lincoln Youth Group. Cost $1.00 to play.

SATURDAY FEB. 4TH:

11:30am - Parade with theme "Community Magic"; Line-up at the old pallet mill at 11:15am. Please don't block the doors to the mill and please park to the side!

11:45am - Soup & Bread Lunch at Burnham Hall by the Lincoln Library; $6.00 per person

12:30pm - Capture the Flag at the Lincoln Sports Field; come join us for some snowy fun!

12:30pm until 2:30pm - Town Office Open House, including a Historical Society display

4:30pm until 6:30pm - Spaghetti Dinner by the Bobcat Cafe owners (they are preschool parents); proceeds to benefit the Lincoln Preschool; Adults $8.00, seniors $5.00, and kids $3.00. Four and under are free.

7:00pm - Variety Show - Come one, come all to the annual Lincoln Variety Show! Perform your favorite song, poem, jokes, skit, or just come and enjoy. Please sign up in advance by calling Todd Goodyear at 453-8589.

SUNDAY FEB. 5TH:

7:30am until 9:30am - Pancake Breakfast by Lincoln Sports; Single meal $6.00, all you can eat pancakes $8.00.

1:00pm until 5:00pm - Lego Building in the basement of the church. All you need to bring is your imagination! All ages are welcome.

Hill Country Holiday is coming up quickly! Mark your calendars for the first weekend of February. There will be Military Whist, a parade, soup & bread lunch, "Capture the Flag" in the snow, a Town Office open house, spaghetti dinner, variety show, pancake breakfast, Legos, and MORE! Feb. 3rd through 5th. Details and times coming soon!

Winter Hill Country Holiday is this coming weekend! The theme: Frozen!
Friday 1/30 - Crowning of our King & Queen, Mike & Ann Fisher, will take place during Military Whist (6:45pm)
Saturday 1/31 - Parade at 11:30am with theme "Frozen!" Line-up at the old pallet mill at 11:15am. Soup, hot dog, and bread lunch to follow at 11:45am at Burnham Hall, to benefit the Lincoln Library.
12:45pm - come to the Lincoln Library for the Disney movie "Frozen."
4:30 to 6:30pm - Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the Lincoln Cooperative Preschool. Adults $7.00, seniors $5.00, children 7 to 11 $3.00, and children 6 and under are free.
7:00pm - Variety Show! No need to sign up in advance; just tell Todd know before the show starts that you would like to perform.
Sunday 2/1 - Pancake Breakfast at Burnham Hall to benefit Lincoln Sports 7:30am to 9:30am. Single meal $6.00 and all-you-can-eat pancakes $8.00.
12:00pm to 4:00pm - Lego Mania at Burnham Hall! Just bring your imagination!
1:00pm to 2:00pm - Zumba, upstairs at Burnham Hall. $7.00 suggested donation with all proceeds to benefit Lincoln Sports.

Summer Hill Country Holiday is coming up this weekend, August 1st-3rd, with the theme "1964" to celebrate Lincoln Sports 50th Anniversary!
Schedule of events:
Friday 7:00pm - Movie at the Lincoln Library "Mary Poppins"
Saturday 9:00am - Family Soccer at the Ball Field
Saturday 11:15am - Bristol Band will play on the Prescott lawn
Saturday 11:30am - Parade, with theme "1964" (Line up at old pallet mill at 11:15am)
Saturday after the parade - Potluck Lunch under the Lincoln Sports Pavilion - please bring a summery dish to share!
Saturday 1:00pm - Volleyball and Field Games on the Ball Field
Saturday 5:00pm - Be-Bop Car Hop at the Lincoln United Church
Sunday 1:00pm - Open House at Historical Society is celebration of the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Dept.
Sunday 2:00pm - Ultimate Frisbee at the Lincoln Sports Field

HILL COUNTRY HOLIDAY "LINCOLN OLYMPICS" UPDATE!

Tomorrow (Saturday) schedule of events:

Parade at 11:30am (line-up at the old pallet mill at 11:15am)
Lunch immediately following the parade at Burnham Hall, to benefit the Lincoln Library
"Lincoln Olympics" from 1:00pm until ??? Bring your winter toys, including sleds, snow-shoes, x-country skis, and whatever else!
Spaghetti Dinner starting at 4:00pm to benefit the Lincoln Cooperative Preschool
World-Famous Variety Show at 7:00pm!

Have FUN tomorrow, and please take lots of pictures and share them on the Lincoln Sports page!

Hill Country Holiday is THIS WEEKEND!! Friday night activities:

Pulled pork dinner at Burnham Hall from 5:00pm to 6:30pm (get there early in case supplies run low!) $12.00 for a full meal, $8.00 for a half. Includes: Pulled pork with Oklahoma-style barbecue sauce, Okie slaw, salad, maple baked beans, drink, and dessert. A portion of proceeds to benefit Lincoln Sports.

Military Whist to follow at 6:45pm upstairs -- $1.00 to play, to benefit the Youth Group.

Don't forget to visit the ATM tomorrow before coming home from work -- there will be tons of great food all weekend!!

Saturday: Parade, followed by lunch at Burnham Hall, "Winter Games" on the Lincoln Sports field (and maybe around town)
Saturday night: Variety Show
Sunday morning: breakfast at Burnham Hall, followed by 4 hours of Lego's, and Zumba in the afternoon!
