A few times a year, we get to invite fellow food nerds on a tour of an actual Eat Real partner district, to give them a closer look at what’s possible in school food.

This is Montague Area Public Schools in Michigan.

Students grow vegetables in the school's garden and raise the chickens that end up on the lunch tray! They take field trips to local farms to gain an appreciation of where their food comes from!

The foodservice director at Montague, Dan Gorman, doesn't just feed students — he educates them, connects them, and invests in their relationship with food for life. 🍎

We believe the fastest, most scalable solution to America's children's health crisis is already in our communities.

Since 2019, we’ve been working with school food heroes across the country to transform their menus to be delicious, nutritious, and responsibly sourced.

Our work has always been about inviting everyone to the table — no matter where they are in their real food journey.

So far, we’ve reached over 1 MILLION students across 21 states with our doctor-led, science-backed, foodservice-approved certification program.

But there’s still more room at our table.

"Eat real with us" is a call to join a movement that's already working. Bring your school district. Bring your community. Bring your resources. Pull up a chair.

Feeding kids and keeping them healthy shouldn't be a political issue. Red states, blue states, purple states — every kid in every zip code deserves a nourishing school meal.
