Meet Ryley Demaro! Ryley is a Senior ADPR and Sports Media Communications major from Waterloo. She is The Big Event’s graphic designer, and she joined TBE to get involved in the Lincoln community. She says The Big Event demonstrates the importance of helping others and giving back to the place we call home! Ryley is also involved in the Delta Gamma sorority, and she is a Digital Media Specialist for the Husker athletic department.

Meet Joycin Stonacek! Joycin is a sophomore Biology major from Lincoln. She is on The Big Event’s Private Residence committee, and she joined TBE to get involved in something bigger than herself. Being from Lincoln, she really loves being able to give back to a community that has given her so much! Joycin is also involved in Delta Gamma as House Manager, MedLife, and Pre Pharmacy Club. She works as a pharmacy technician and a Suite Staff Host. Joycin is also looking forward to participating in Night to Shine Prom and Dance Marathon.

Meet Emmy Witzenburg! Emmy is a senior English major from Omaha. She is The Big Event’s Day of Chair and joined The Big Event because she believes it is important to give back to the community that you live in. Emmy loves The Big Event because it is accessible for both students and members of the community. She is also involved in Delta Gamma!

Meet Maddie Davis! Maddie is a junior Fisheries and Wildlife major on a pre-veterinary track from Omaha. She is on The Big Event’s Recruitment Committee, and she joined TBE Executive Team after having a wonderful time as a field volunteer her freshman year. Maddie wants to be able to give back to the community in an even bigger way by helping organize the event and helping students have similar positive experiences. She is involved in Pre-Vet Club, Wildlife Club, Alpha Delta Pi, and she’s the president of Swim Club!

Meet Ethan Beier! Ethan is a Junior History and Classics major from Omaha, Nebraska. He is on The Big Event’s Marketing Committee, and he joined TBE because it gives him an opportunity to positively impact the Lincoln community on a large scale! Ethan is also involved in ASUN, OASIS Peer Mentoring, and the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Meet Destiny Southern, one of our Marketing chairs! Destiny sees The Big Event as a way for students to give back to the Lincoln community and to let them know that we appreciate them! She joined The Big Event because she wanted to be apart of something bigger than herself. TBE has brought Destiny closer to people in the community that she wouldn’t have been able to meet anywhere else.
