Our team recently enjoyed an evening at Haymarket Park cheering on the Saltdogs, enjoying ballpark snacks and sharing a few laughs. We're grateful for opportunities to come together for good beyond the workplace.

📣 Calling all connectors: Weaver Award applications close August 10!

Through LCF’s partnership with Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute, we are granting 20 local weavers $4,000 each to continue the work they're already doing to make Lincoln a more connected community.

From youth mentorship groups or neighborhood block parties, to public art installations or community gardens, Weaving can take on many forms.

If you know someone – or are someone – who is building trust, belonging and connection in your neighborhood, don't miss the deadline to apply!

What could an $80,000 investment in Lincoln’s community connections make possible?

Thanks to Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute, 20 local Weavers will each receive a $4,000 award to continue building relationships, creating belonging and strengthening our community. Projects ultimately focus on fostering relationships between participants, but can take on many forms from things like youth mentorship groups or neighborhood block parties, to public art installations or community gardens.

As a 2026 Community Host, we're proud to help celebrate the neighbors who are weaving a tighter social fabric in Lincoln.

We’re still feeling like $11 million bucks after another record-breaking Give to Lincoln Day! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Nonprofit Festival in Tower Square. It was a joyful celebration of all the local causes and organizations that add so much to our quality of life in Lincoln!
