Hello, I am Cindy, Mainor’s mom. Today, April 26, I want to express the great blessing that Huellas de Amor (Footprints of Love) has been for my life and that of my son.
In the year 2016, I separated from the father of my children. At that time, I had three children: one aged 9, another aged 8, and Mainor, who was only three years old. It was a very difficult stage for me. I felt like the world was coming down on me, and even though I worked, it was not enough to cover all our needs. One day, my sister-in-law told me about the Huellas de Amor program. It caught my attention, and she took me there herself. There, I spoke with Carolina, who very kindly signed Mainor up and asked me for patience, as there were many children on the waiting list. I remember that in my heart, I asked God that when they saw my son’s photo, it would touch their hearts and they would choose him. To my surprise, a week later, I received a call from Carolina, who told me to bring Mainor because he already had a sponsor. At that moment, I felt an emotion and a happiness so great that I cannot describe it; I could only give thanks to God. Since that day, Mainor’s life changed thanks to that blessing. Every month, I have been able to count on support to buy him food, clothes, and shoes. Today, Mainor is 13 years old and continues to receive this valuable help.
I can only say thank you, thank you for your love, your support, and for continuing to help so many children who truly need it. May God bless you always for the beautiful work you do.
