The Woods Park Neighborhood Association board meeting is tonight at 7 PM at Members Own Credit Union. Enter on the west side of the building. The incident at Dirt Cheap on Halloween night will be the first item on the agenda. All neighbors are welcomed to attend. Capt. Fehringer of LPD and Jon Carlson of the Stronger Safer Neighborhoods project will be present to answer any questions. Representatives of Dirt Cheap and its landlord have also been invited. The Health Department is hosting a household hazardous waste collection this month in the Woods Park neighborhood. The collection is on Saturday October 19th from 9am-1pm at Woods Park (south parking lot, 31st & J St). All
residents are welcome to bring materials such as pesticides/herbicides, insect sprays, vehicle fluids, oil-based paint and stain, fluorescent tubes, CFLs and others.

Items that CANNOT be accepted include electronics, computers, latex paint, fertilizers, tires, used oil, asbestos,
and antifreeze. See the attached flyer for more information, and for a complete list of acceptable/nonacceptable items visit lincoln.ne.gov, keyword household.

We are also looking for community volunteers to assist with the collection on the 19th. Volunteers can work the entire event or on a shift (8:15am-11am; 10:45am-1:30pm). Duties include providing educational material to participants and directing traffic. T-shirt and refreshments are provided.
