The following nonprofit organizations are coordinated by Arts Incorporated. ASSOCIATION OF NONPROFIT EXECUTIVES
• Professional Organization for executives of nonprofit organizations, including a wide variety of emphases (social services, arts, community-oriented, etc.) CAPITAL JAZZ SOCIETY
• Produces and promotes jazz events in Lincoln
• Includes Capital Jazz Society Big Band: Mixture of professi
onal and non-professional musicians, including students and community members, who gather to perform big band jazz music. Musicians in the audience are invited to join the band during the second and third sets.
• Includes Capital Jazz Series: Regular series of jazz events, including some of the finest professional jazz ensembles throughout the Midwest. LINCOLN MIDWEST BALLET COMPANY
• Mostly volunteer organization, with professional guest artists hired for some roles. Artistic Director: Shari True.
• Includes “Nutcracker,” Spring Dance Project, Summer Dance Camp, Backstage at the Ballet, other events
LINCOLN MUNICIPAL BAND
• Professional wind ensemble with conductors Bob Krueger and Terry Rush
• Includes outdoor summer series, indoor concerts, educational outreach, John Shildneck Young Artist Competition, and other events
NEBRASKA BRASS
• Professional brass quintet
• Series of five sets of concerts each season, each concert in three or more communities (Lincoln, Omaha, other), and other events
• Includes Brass Goes to School, reaching elementary schools in Lincoln, Omaha, and other communities
NEBRASKA JAZZ ORCHESTRA
• Professional Jazz Big Band, directed by Ed Love
• Series of concerts each season and other events
• Includes Nebraska Jazz Camp, Young Lions All Star Band, Young Jazz Artist Competition, Jazz Goes to School
NEBRASKA TRUMPET ENSEMBLE
• Professional Trumpet Ensemble, conducted by members of the ensemble

In addition to providing management for numerous nonprofit organizations, Arts Incorporated produces a number of events, contracts musicians, and provides referrals. Examples are listed below:
• The Lincoln Community Foundation Garden Performance Series is a free performance series held in the beautiful Lincoln Community Foundation Garden on Wednesdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., May through August. The series has a long history of bringing a variety of free performances by area entertainment groups to downtown Lincoln during the summer. Since 2011, the Lincoln Community Foundation has contracted with Arts Incorporated to produce this series showcasing 17-18 groups each summer.
• The Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra (NSCO) is comprised of professional musicians from the Lincoln and Omaha areas, and has performed for the annual production of the Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company’s Nutcracker at the Lied Center for Performing Arts since 1995. The NSCO has also performed for operas, musical productions and a variety of concerts throughout the area including special events for Nebraska Wesleyan University, Doane College and area churches. In 1994, the NSCO performed with Rod Stewart in a sold out performance at Lincoln's Devaney Center. In the last several years the NSCO has performed Bach’s Magnificat, Handel’s Messiah, and Vivaldi’s Gloria in addition to providing local musicians for touring productions such as Frankie Valli, Ragtime, Chicago, South Pacific, and Peter Pan at the Lied Center.
• Arts Incorporated provides a referral service for up to 100 or more inquiries each year, helping people find music for their events.
