Lincoln FC Soccer

Lincoln FC Soccer An Awesome Opportunity for children who LOVE soccer! We are a traveling/competitive soccer club. Lincoln FC was formed in the Spring of 2009.

We formed because we saw a need for a higher level of soccer (competitive) that some players in Logan County are not getting. Our goal is to give our players more opportunity to play the sport they love, and increase their skill level with additional play. This will, in turn, increase the talent level for local high school teams, and open more opportunities for athletes to play soccer after high s

chool. We have a new complex on 27 acres of ground directly behind the WalMart Supercenter. The complex has 5 full sized fields and 2 youth sized fields. We have been playing on the complex fields since the Spring of 2011. When the complex is complete, we expect to have at least one championship style lighted field, several other full size and half size fields, a concessions stand with restrooms, and a parking lot. We are still raising funds to continue our projects.

It’s time to meet our cancer honoree for our annual LCHS soccer Kick Cancer night, which will take place on October 14th!

This year we are honoring Lexy Boyer, a current student at LCHS. Here is her story:

Lexy is 17, fearless, hilarious, and completely herself. From goofy childhood moments to silly selfies, and sweet snapshots with her boyfriend, Lexy’s pictures show exactly who she is: a young woman full of life, laughter, and that unstoppable Lexy spirit.

This summer, Lexy faced a huge challenge — she had a brain tumor (which she cheekily named Thomas) removed. And true to her personality, she met it with courage, sass, and even a little humor: she told her doctor, “Today is Thomas’s eviction date.”

Thomas has been effectively evicted, but Lexy still needs our support. She will complete radiation, followed by chemo treatments for the next year to come. Lexy is very strong willed, and she is going to beat this cancer!

Help our soccer team raise some money for Lexy and her family!

🏐 Join us for Kick Cancer Night (10/14), where you can buy raffle tickets to win raffle baskets and support our cause at the same time!

The JV game starts at 4:30 and varsity will kickoff at 6:00. We will also recognize our seniors at 5:20 and introduce Lincoln FC players at halftime of varsity.

See you Tuesday!
