NUSAMS is coming at ya with more speakers! YAY!!!! Meet Allie Knouse, Director of Development & Marketing -
Allie Knouse is the Director of Development & Marketing at Rejuvenating Women and has worked with the organization for two years. Allie received her BS in Psychology from Grace University and had a special interest in Addictions Counseling.
Allie’s passion is to watch the residents take little steps to healing, string days and weeks together, and experience restoration by making day-to-day choices.

Julie Shrader, Founder/President:
Julie Shrader is the Founder and President of Rejuvenating Women and the Restored Wings Home Program. Rejuvenating Women is a local Omaha non-profit that provides hope and restoration to victims and survivors of human trafficking from all over the United States. Julie's vision has always been to provide a home that is safe with a compassionate trauma informed staff and where survivors who have suffered complex trauma can begin to heal. Her passion is to help every woman find healing, peace and love by going through the Restored Wings Program.
Julie helps to raise awareness of human trafficking in Nebraska and desires to stop the "Johns" who are purchasing them as well as the "traffickers" selling them. If there is no demand, there will be no victims.

The work of HTI Labs spans the entire gamut from basic to applied research with the goal of shaping effective, evidence-based responses to the complex systems within which these issues are embedded. The company collects, generates, and analyzes data, connects information sources, and produces research and analytical products in support of policymakers, law enforcement, service providers, and the broader academic community. Our speaker for this Tuesday, March 26th at 6:00pm in the Andersen Hall Student Lounge! - Crysta N. Price is the Director of the Human Trafficking Initiative (HTI) at Creighton University and the Founder and CEO of HTI Labs. She earned her MA in International Relations with the Track in Data Science in 2016. HTI Labs is a startup tech research company that focuses on issues that largely effect women and girls. The company seeks to create a world in which those creating the technology, those studying the problem, and those working on the problem are fully integrated, and the solutions are empowered by creativity and technology. The company approaches this goal by providing reliable data and research on the prevalence and causes of s*x trafficking, intimate partner violence, s*xual assault, s*xual harassment and stalking, and identifying and evaluating holistic strategies to countering these problems.
