If you laugh, you think and you cry, thats a full day said Jimmy V. Well, we did all three before 9 am this morning. We shared breakfast with the managers at the Embassy as their show of appreciation for the hard work put in this year. Thank you Bryan and all Embassy management for helping prepare us for the work force.

Our last rotation has begun and we are excited about using the skills we have learned to find and retain employment in the Lincoln community.

Tanner is meticulously vacuuming the new carpet here at the Embassy. The interns are already in their third and final rotations. Tanner has worked int ht Engineering department, housekeeping, and is now in Complimentary Breakfast.

Kaitlyn's first rotation was at the front desk where she helped fill Hilton Honors Bags and provided top notch guest services to everyone who stayed at the hotel. Kaitlyn brings a positive spirit and can-do attitude to any task she is asked to complete. She is taking her talents to the laundry department for rotation 2.

During our week off between rotations 1 and 2 we had some time to do an employment tour at another downtown hotel. Thank you to Sam and Aaron at the Courtyard Marriott in the Haymarket for showing us the similarities and differences of working at a different hotel.

It's already the end of the the first rotations for the interns!!

Cordell's first rotation was in the kitchen helping with the dishes. He was described as a busy bee the way he was buzzing around the dish pit completing his duties. Two weeks before the end of his rotation he wrote and presented a letter of resignation to chef. Cordell has been growing his public seeking skills all semester. He even presented in from of parents and potential interns at Information night.

Keep up the good work Cordell!!!
