Register today for Salute to Business!

Salute to Business, hosted by the four Rotary Clubs in Lincoln, honors a local business that is growing employment and upholds the Rotary motto, "Service Before Self."

This year's event will celebrate Clark & Enersen as the Rotary Clubs of Lincoln's 2026 Salute to Business honoree! Doors open at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel Ballroom on October 27 at 11:30 a.m., with the program beginning at noon.

Clark & Enersen is one of Lincoln’s most prominent architecture and engineering firms and has been a fixture in Nebraska’s design community since 1946. Founded by architect Kenneth B. Clark and landscape architect Lawrence A. Enersen, the firm has grown from a local architecture practice into a multidisciplinary design firm serving clients across the United States. Today, Clark & Enersen provides architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, planning and master planning, and construction administration services. Notable projects include the University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Engineering Kiewit Hall, Standing Bear High School, CenterPointe Campus for Health & Wellbeing, Pius X High School Master Plan, League of Nebraska Municipalities New Headquarters, and many others. Few firms have left a larger mark on Lincoln’s built environment. The company employs more than 180 professionals with offices in Lincoln, Omaha, Kansas City, KS, Lawrence, KS, Fort Collins, CO, Portland, OR, and Charleston, SC.

At the recent Rotary Dictionary Labeling Party, over 3,700 dictionaries were labeled, boxed and are now ready for delivery to Lincoln third graders! Thanks to Lincoln Rotary Club 14, Lincoln East Rotary and Lincoln South Rotary Club members for participating in the Labeling Party!

Interested in volunteering to deliver dictionaries?

>> Sign up to deliver dictionaries to third graders by visiting https://bit.ly/2026DictionaryDeliverySignUp.

Between now and October 31, volunteers are needed to deliver dictionaries to third-grade classrooms. There is not a specific date for delivery, but a time frame during which volunteers contact the school and set up a date and time. The schools on the sign-up are assigned to Lincoln Rotary Club 14. Other schools are assigned to the other Rotary clubs.

Note: Lincoln Public Schools will begin a dictionary unit for their third graders in November, so our goal is to have all dictionaries delivered in time for that.
