Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey.
Every path is unique, and what works for one person may look completely different for another.

September is National Recovery Month, and at Save A Life Community Recovery Resource Center, we want you to know that you don't have to navigate it alone, and we are so glad you are here with us. 💜

No matter where you are on your journey, support is available.

Save A Life is inviting you and all of your family and friends to our annual block party on Friday, September 4th 5pm at Save A Life Community Recovery Resource Center! 19 VFW St, Lincoln.

What Activities Will Be There?
🟣 Guitars for Vets and our Save A Life music Club will be providing music for the night!
🟣 Free BBQ!
🟣 ATV Rides with the Cold Stream Cruzers .
🟣 Our volunteer and teen recovery coach, Lily, will be doing Face Painting.
🟣 Grace Tibbets will be offering family portraits.
🟣 Rock Painting to bring home or to decorate the center.
🟣 Friendship bracelet making.
🟣 Bean Bag Toss and other games.
🟣 Raffle for a 2027 Portland Seadogs Game!
🟣 Inside view the state-wide art project we participated in See the Person not the Use.
🟣 The unveiling of our Maine Humanities Council Major Grant Award Project: In Our Eyes: We Are All Recovering from Something.

Everyone is welcome to write with us. New writers, season poets, those publishes and unpublished, everyone is welcome to come spend time with us and write with us!

Happy Wednesday!
We are open 10-6pm today!
Come on by, 19 VFW St, Lincoln. You are welcome anytime we are open to hang out, access needs, share a cup of tea, play a game, anything you need.

Today Courtney will be at Why Not Stop & Why not Stop Deli at 11am for an open All Recovery Meeting that anyone is welcome to.

2-5pm is Teen Hive. This is a time set aside for teens to access the center to do homework, play a game, do crafts, play music, anything they would like to do.

5:30pm is Write to Heal with Chris Davis this is open to everyone and you are invited to join us today!

Don't forget our Save A Life's Annual Recovery Block Party 2026 is FRIDAY! 5pm free rides, BBQ, games, don't miss it!

🌭 Free BBQ and Lincoln's newest food truck, Maine Street Kitchen, will be there with a tasty menu for purchase.
🤩Special guests: 501st New England Garrison Star Wars, Guitars For Vets - Bangor, ME, Partners for Peace, MC Community Services, & Courtney Morgan with Chance to Change Consulting.
