With the recent warm weather we have to close our trails. We have lost a lot of snow the past few days.

We have to respect our land owners that allow us to cross their property and when the grass starts showing it is time.

We would like to thank our landowners, our members, and the group of volunteers that make all this happen.

Thank you to everyone and we hope we have a year next year like we had this year.

Both groomers are out flattening everything they can with what they have to work with. Things are ok considering its march, but with the recent warm up they are not great and with the warm up in the next week not sure how things will hold up.

Not gonna make it out to be better than it is. There is good snow in higher elevations but getting thin down low. Some corners are icey. If you wanna ride i would recommend tomorrow. We will not be grooming after tonight until temps allow.

Hopefully things cool down and we can get out a few more times. After the warm weather this week we will get out and evaluate things.

There will be some work on the powerlines up by bog pond. Please see below the message from eversource. If there are any questions their contact info is listed. This is not anything to do with snowmobile club we are just forwarding the information. There are signs up at the entrance to the pond and on the powerlines where the work will be.

Eversource and Crux Subsurface will be conducting helicopter assisted geotechnical borings at select locations on the X178 Transmission Line within the White Mountain National Forest starting in mid-February, and continuing for approximately 3 weeks. Riders may see and/or hear a low flying helicopter from the end of the Bog Pond Trail at Bog Pond as this work is completed. Signage is in place with contact information if there are questions or concerns. Please keep a safe distance away from the helicopter, boring equipment, and personnel as this work is completed. Contact us via email at [email protected] or via phone at 1-888-926-5334 for more information.

Thank you,

Both groomers are out tonight smoothing up everything on all our trails. We got a couple inches of new snow last night and the temps are dropping so things should set up nice.
I have got to add this to the post just because this has never happened. When one groomer was headed out over P156 tonight they met a snowmobile. The groomer went all the way over P156 and on their way back on the top of rt 118 on P156 they met the same snowmobile on his way home. The third picture reflects how this guy rides after meeting a groomer hours ago. He stayed on the side that was not groomed all the way and didnt blow out the corners. I did not get this guys name but if you riding at night and see groomers out ride like this guy. If that rider happens to see this post we appreciate you!!!
Enjoy the trails and also look at our earlier post on how to donate to the WMSC
Thanks

Just a reminder that corridor 11s out of in town lincoln “behind mcdonalds” is closed down to the ciley mtn junction. Please respect the trail closure and the clubs signage. This is not how the club volunteers like to spend there afternoons going to repair signs that have been pushed to the side.
Thank you
