Our Trench Safety Stand Down Training Event is next Friday, June 19! This free training event is open to all crews looking to strengthen their trench safety knowledge. Attendees will learn about trench safety best practices, inspections, and the latest equipment and technology available to keep workers safe on the jobsite. Everyone who participants will also receive a certificate of attendance.

We had a great time at the Hard Hat Week Proclamation Ceremony celebrating the people who help build Nebraska from the ground up.

Hard Hat Week is a coordinated effort through the Nebraska Construction Industry Council (NCIC) and its member associations to recognize students stepping into construction careers and to highlight the importance of growing our workforce.

It was awesome to see several NUCA of Nebraska members there, including Valley Corp., showing up to support the next generation of the industry.

The Nebraska Construction Industry Council is hosting a statewide scholarship competition. From May 4-8, high school seniors who post publicly on social media about their commitment to the construction industry will be entered to win $1,000 and the teacher who supported their journey will receive $200 for classroom use. We are the construction industry dedicated to inform parents, teachers, and students about opportunities the industry can provide.
