After several days of discussion, debate, and important decisions, this year’s House has officially concluded.

A big thank you to Nebraska’s ADA delegates for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to representing our state at the ADA House of Delegates!

Our delegates have spent the past several days participating in important discussions, reviewing resolutions, and advocating for the interests of Nebraska dentists and the future of our profession.

Day 2 of the House included the election and installation of the ADA’s 2026–2027 officers, with another full day of debate and voting on resolutions ahead tomorrow.

We appreciate the time and energy these three leaders devote to ensuring Nebraska has a voice in the decisions shaping organized dentistry!

The next generation of dentists has an important voice in shaping the future of our profession.

Will Alexander, a Creighton University School of Dentistry student and ASDA District 9 Trustee, joined the ADA 10th District Caucus to share the student perspective on issues impacting future dentists.

The discussion touched on challenges and opportunities facing dental students and early-career dentists, from the cost of education and career decisions to practice locations and access to care.

With dental students from across the country participating in this year’s ADA House of Delegates meeting, it’s a valuable opportunity to hear their perspectives and better understand the issues that matter to them.

As the future of dentistry and organized dentistry, their voices deserve a place in these conversations, and their involvement is essential to moving our profession forward.

Going underground with Nebraska’s early career dentists!

Last week, we took our members deep into Robber’s Cave for a night of tours, great food, drinks, and— most importantly—connection.

Dentistry can sometimes feel like an isolating profession, which is why creating spaces like this matters so much to us. We are absolutely thrilled to help our early career dentists build relationships and let them know we are here as a resource for support now, and throughout their entire careers.
