On Saturday September 5th, BINGO, delicious food, a farmers market and wholesome family fun is happening at the Vesper Community Center, located at 1247 N 120th Rd, Lincoln KS 67455 1 mile south of Hwy 18 in Vesper. Doors to the facility and the concession stand open at 5:30pm and bingo begins at 7pm.

August's bingo had more than 25 winners and Mercede Utley of Lucas won the jackpot round. More info about bingo and volunteer opportunities can be found at https://vespercc.org/bingo/

Volunteers will be selling burgers, sloppy joes, hot dogs, loaded nachos, fresh baked cinnamon rolls and cheesecake, ice cream sundaes, pie and beverages inside the facility at the concession stand. Food is hot and ready and also available for takeout from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. All proceeds support the community center.

There will be a Farmers Market before bingo begins. Farmers Market vendors are not charged any fees to sell outside the facility from 5:00pm to 7:00pm but must sign up at https://vespercc.org/farmers-markets/ and follow all selling rules and restrictions.

The Vesper facility is available to rent for wedding receptions and other gatherings and includes the use of up 300+ chairs and 42 8' tables for indoor seating arrangements. For more information go to the www.vespercc.org web site

The annual Memorial Day luncheon meal at the Vesper Community Center is happening this Monday, May 25th. Delicious food will be served by volunteers from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Residents and visitors are welcome to stop by and enjoy a fresh made free will donation meal while they are traveling through the county visiting memorial sites. The community center is located at 1247 N 120th Rd in Vesper township, Lincoln KS 67455.
