Feed It Onward is a Trump EPA initiative that lends a national platform to spotlight the farmers, businesses, nonprofits, military partners, and communities who are doing incredible work to ensure good food is being put to use instead of turned to waste.

Did you know it will take 450-550 years for a disposable diaper to break down in the landfill? With just a single child needing multiple a day for years, the cumulative impact of diapers is a huge environmental challenge - especially for something that's only been around for about 80 years!

This year's Keep Nebraska Beautiful Conference was an incredible three days of information, inspiration, and connection building! We had a great time and amazing presenters like Kent Holm, Senator Hughes and Senator Clouse, our friends at KAB & KOB and more! Everyone who came up even got to attend the Evening with KNB and see our supporters in person. Thanks all for attending and we hope to see you again next year!

Attention Omaha residents with old tires! 📢 Bring them to the City of Omaha's tire collection event next Saturday! ⬇

The City of Omaha will offer residents a no-cost Tire Collection Event on Saturday, June 6. From 9am - 2pm, residents may bring old tires to the City Facility at 2214 Washington Street in Southeast Omaha. Restrictions apply, and details are subject to change, so check their event page for more information: Tires.Wasteline.org

Tire collection is open to all City of Omaha households. Sixteen tires maximum per vehicle, per day. Only residential tires are accepted; tires from businesses are prohibited. Residents are responsible for unloading their own vehicles, as no assistance will be provided. Accepted items include: car tires, motorcycle tires, and small truck tires. Tires must be removed from rim.
