The Trenchard Foundation

The Trenchard Foundation Effective 2018, The Trenchard Foundation will help fund the University of Nebraska Preparatory Academy.

Partner with the University of Nebraska to provide financial and other assistance to low income students. Mentoring program starts in 8th grade with Nebraska College Preparatory Academy and assistance continues through college degree with college students being members of the Trenchard Institute For Academic Excellence. The students are first generation in family to attend colllege.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly great man, Dr. Robert Mastin of Hastings, NE. He was a fine doctor, much loved and respected in the community, and a devoted Husker. The family has asked that memorials be sent to the Foundation to help deserving, first generation scholars at the University of Nebraska. We are humbled by this gesture and extend our heartfelt condolences to the family.
You will be missed Uncle Bob!

Burial Office is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, Saint Mark’s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral in Hastings, The Very Reverend Katie Hargis officiating. The Trenchard Foundation will be honored at an event Friday, September 1 for the Nebraska Preparatory Academy on the U of N campus. The foundation is joining with the NPCA to provide scholarships for students with financial need and who will be first in family to attend college.
