What a night! 🎉 More than 200 parents and young people joined us Friday for the City Impact Block Party!

From hot dogs and ice cream to games, scooters, a scavenger hunt, and free books from our Literacy Program, it was a great evening with our community.

We’re grateful for every volunteer and team member who helped make the evening shine! Please join us in praying that God continues to work through the relationships and connections made. 💙

We’re grateful for Mark and his heart for young people! Thankful for the many ways our Youth for Christ Lincoln - Campus Life, JJM + Parent Life and City Impact team is walking alongside young people throughout our community. 💙

👋 Meet Mark!

Mark Lighthall has been serving as a Campus Life Site Director with YFC for nearly three years, working with students at Irving and Culler Middle Schools. He’s also a husband to Nina and proud dad to Edmond and Elijah! 💙

When he’s not investing in students, you can probably find Mark gaming! 🎮🎲 He’s a big fan of both video and board games and has built quite the eclectic board game collection.

We’re grateful to have Mark as part of the YFC team! Join us in praying for him and the youth he'll impact this year. 🙏💙

👋 Meet Matt!

Matt has been part of the Campus Life community for years! He volunteered with Lux Campus Life for eight years and has been on staff since 2011. His connection to Campus Life goes back even further—he attended multiple Campus Life ski trips himself as a high school student! 💙

A Lincoln native, Matt has deep roots in the community—and a fun fact about him? He likes to dabble in politics! 🗳️
