Last week, we welcomed and awarded nine additional local organizations with the Lincoln Family-Friendly Workplace Certification. 🎉

The nine workplaces that received certification are: A Blessing of Hope Family Services, LLC, Bison, Inc., Center for Legal Immigration Assistance, E&A Consulting Group, Inc., FNIC Trusted Insurance Advisors, Food Bank of Lincoln, Nebraska Orthopedic Center, Nelnet, Inc., and Sandhills Global.

🚀 Applications are now open for the 2027 LaunchLNK grant program!

LaunchLNK supports promising early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs looking to start or expand their operations in Lincoln.

Six selected recipients will each receive $20,000 in non-dilutive funding, plus access to more than $43,000 in additional benefits, services and expertise from LaunchLNK's corporate partner network.

Since its launch, companies supported through LaunchLNK have gone on to create jobs and raise more than $115 million in additional capital—strengthening Lincoln's growing startup ecosystem.

Big news in agriculture and innovation!

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Innovation Campus has received an additional $37 million in federal funding for the new National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture. The 120,000-square-foot USDA research facility will focus on precision agriculture, sustainable production and climate resiliency while doubling the number of USDA-ARS scientists in Lincoln.
