What a great weekend at the Nebraska SCTP State Clay Target Championship!

Thank you to all of our athletes for their hard work and sportsmanship, our families for their continued support, and Heartland Shooting Park for hosting an outstanding event.

Along with our championship events, Nebraska SCTP partnered with the Nebraska Junior Olympic program and offered athletes the ability to participate in the Junior Olympic Qualifier events for International Trap and International S***t, along with "Give It A Shot" introductory opportunities that allowed our athletes to experience the International disciplines for the first time. Thank you to Rob, Zach & Kaela Hinze for volunteering their time, sharing their expertise, and encouraging athletes to step outside their comfort zones and give the international disciplines a try. We had approximately 75% of our athletes participate in either the qualifier or the “give it a shot” opportunities.

Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed.

A special congratulations to the teams earning team awards:
1st Place – Eastern Nebraska Shotgun Sports
2nd Place – S-41 SCTP
3rd Place – Creighton Prep Trap Team

We had four Nebraska shooters represent us in Missouri at the SCTP Prairie Grove regionals. Josh Wiemer, Crew Potter, Caleb Gizinski, and Jaxson Stark. Crew placed 3rd in Sr Men’s Trap Singles.
