We are so proud to see one of our amazing puppy raisers, Katie, sharing the powerful impact of service dogs on a global stage!

Katie’s blog, published by the Inter-American Development Bank, highlights Baxter, a Domesti-PUPS Goldendoodle who is training to become a service dog while helping raise awareness about disability inclusion in Belize. 🇧🇿

Baxter’s story is a wonderful reminder that raising a future service dog is about so much more than teaching commands. Every new experience, every skill learned, and every door opened helps prepare these incredible dogs for their future roles in supporting independence, accessibility, and inclusion.

We are incredibly grateful to puppy raisers like Katie who help our dogs build the confidence, skills, and real-world experience they need to make a difference in someone’s life. ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating one of the fab 4 breeds: The Standard Poodle

There’s a reason we love our curly-coated friends! Poodles are incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, adaptable, athletic, and—perhaps most importantly—*ready to work alongside their person.* From learning complex tasks to navigating new environments, these dogs can do some pretty amazing things!

And we can’t forget the **poodle mixes** who bring their own special combination of traits to the Domesti-PUPS family. ❤️

From puppies in training to working service dogs, therapy dogs, and everything in between, our poodles have left some BIG pawprints on our organization.
