We recognize and honor Indigenous peoples and celebrate the cultures, traditions, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous communities. At St. Monica’s, we are grateful for the Indigenous women and families who have been part of our community and recovery work.

Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day.

Mental health is part of our overall health, and caring for it matters.

At St. Monica’s, we see every day how mental health, trauma, substance use, relationships, and life experiences can be deeply connected. We also see the strength it takes to ask for help, begin healing, and keep moving forward.

This is a reminder to check in with yourself and with the people around you. To listen without judgment. To make space for honest conversations. And to remember that asking for support is a sign of strength.

Recovery looks different for every woman, but no one should have to walk that journey alone.

On World Mental Health Day, we will celebrate every person taking steps toward healing, hope, and a healthier future.

🌟Congratulations to our very own, Makenzie Crew! 🌟

We are so proud to share that our Director of Operations, Makenzie Crew, was recognized at the Consumer Family Advisory Committee's Fall in Love with Recovery Brunch with the Guiding Light Award!

The Guiding Light Award recognizes a supervisor who illuminates the path to success for their peers through guidance, support, and mentorship, and we can’t think of a more fitting recognition for Makenzie.

Makenzie leads with compassion, encourages those around her, and is always willing to step in, lend a hand, and help our team continue moving forward. Her leadership makes a difference not only for our staff, but ultimately for the women and families we serve each day.

We are incredibly lucky to have Makenzie on our team and so proud to see her recognized for the light she brings to St. Monica’s.
