CALL TO ACTION: Nebraska Legion Post 1919 is under attack by Department leadership and HQ employees!

To be clear, Post 1919 is not closed and they still have their Charter. Post officers are still holding their positions.

Post 1919's Legion Baseball was cancelled by the DEC without warning or just cause.

Members of Post 1919 uncovered some suspicious activity at Department level and are now under attack.

Thank you Nebraska legion leadership. Arias has a hearing at the Keith County Court to have his criminal records sealed. This will be granted on July 19th. We are beyond being upset.

Update: The Nebraska Legion has elected convicted s*x offender John Arias to serve as an Area Commander in their organization. This area includes the tri-cities: Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings and a large portion of central Nebraska. Mr. Arias was convicted of a brutal s*xual assault at knife-point of his ex-wife and then attempted to flee to Mexico with their 2 young boys but was apprehended before making it there according to court records. He was placed on the S*x Offender Registry for Life. In the past few years, after posing in photos with Gov. Ricketts at functions after his prison release AND his victim not being notified of the hearing, he was granted a pardon with the support of Nebraska Legion Leaders on site. Although he was "pardoned", the brutal s*xual assault occurred and the effects on his children and ex-wife will last a lifetime. The Nebraska Legion Leaders only apologized for "wearing their Legion caps to the pardon hearing" but continue to hold steadfast in their support of a convicted s*x offender as a state leader while promoting their support of military s*xual trauma victims. Hmmm???

So, since they helped get him his pardon, he will be having his criminal records sealed on July 19th. Thank you Nebraska legion leadership and once again, these are CONVICTED s*x offender arias' supporters.
