Hello all, I hope you are enjoying your snowday today! This is Maura writing. I have been trying to email this anouncement to everyone, but the server has been letting me down, and I don't think my messages are getting where they need to go. After careful thought and consideration, I will be stepping down as president. In technical terms, I am no longer a student, as I graduated in December. I also must shift my focus on my new job, as well as the graduate school application process. These are all large life transitions, and I do not feel that I can give NABS the attention it deserves while I navigate them. Rachna Marsh is our amazing vice president, and she will take over the presidential role until elections in April. I will remain on the state board of directors, and will be happy to float around the NABS community and assist at future events. I want to thank President Richey, the state board and my immediate support system for helping me with this decision. I am confident that NABS can regroup and keep building the federation!
