Please consider attending the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Domestic Violence Program's training event called Every Child Is Sacred, The Experiences and Legacy of Indian Boarding Schools.

This training event focuses on the effects of Indian Boarding Schools in Native communities and individuals. The training event will be held on Tuesday, September 29th from 9 am to 4 pm at The Apothecary in downtown Lincoln. You may scan the QR code on the flyer to register. The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska’s Domestic Violence Program is hosting a training on the experiences and legacy of Indian Boarding Schools on Native Americans today.

This is a 1-day training held in Lincoln, NE on September 29, 2026. As part of this training, we are hosting a survivor story panel, and we are currently looking for boarding school survivors or descendants of boarding school survivors to answer questions and share part of their experiences.

This 12-week series focuses on supporting parents and encouraging them to devote their best efforts to teaching and raising their children, helping them develop the potential and attributes needed for success in life in a culturally appropriate way.
