Robin said “My first job at the Lincoln Library was as a Sunday Circulation Assistant in 2015. I’ve worked in a number of different capacities and started in my current position in June of 2020. I love so many things about working in Lincoln, but one of the most important is how supportive the community is of the library and our mission. It is also a joy to work in such a beautiful building! In addition to staffing the reference desk I lead two book groups, run a monthly adult crafting program and coordinate our museum passes. One of my favorite things to do in the library is to create book displays and we’ve recently started putting together a monthly display of materials from our archival collections as well. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Lincoln and its history!” It’s always a pleasure to see Robin’s friendly face behind the reference desk!

If you’re cleaning out your shelves and you have a lot of old, worn-out books that have no resale value, then take them to one of our donation bins around town. If you have like-new, timely books, just send us an email at [email protected] and we will pick them up!

The Friends of the LIncoln Library pay for discounted museum passes to Boston Children’s Museum, Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, Concord Museum, Danforth Museum, Discovery Museum, Garden in the Woods (Native Plant Trust), Gore Place, Harvard Museums of Science and Culture, Historic New England, Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Mass Audubon (Drumlin Farm), Massachusetts State Parks (DCR), Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, Orchard House, Peabody Essex Museum, Trustees of the Reservations, and Zoo New England.
