Earlier this week, NTA Trucking Events Specialist Lucas Mowrey attended the Truckload Carriers Association Safety & Security Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City, where he served as Chair of the division.

Lucas called it "one of the best conference of the year for safety professionals," highlighting the mock trial, regulatory updates, Safety in the Round discussions, and the opportunity to connect with safety leaders from across the trucking industry.

🏆 Congratulations to our 2026 Nebraska Truck Driving Championships Grand Champion, Paul Badgett of FedEx Freight!

More than 70 professional drivers from across Nebraska put their skills to the test in Grand Island this weekend, competing in written exams, vehicle inspections, interviews with the Nebraska State Patrol, and a challenging driving course.
