We Can Do This - Lincoln

When the community identifies a need, we step up and help. All summer long we are serving meals on Tuesday nights at ConnectioN Point.
You see, ConnectioN Point has an OpeN Shelf food pantry on Tuesdays. And they noticed kids were coming with their parents hungry and a little wild. 
Through a partnership with We Can Do This, we feed the kids while the parents shop for items in their OpeN Shelf food pantry. 90 kids a week walk out those doors with full bellies, and hopefully a little more hope and love in their heart! 
Thank you for supporting us as we grow our support for families who need a little extra love right here in Lincoln.

Katie brings both heart and leadership to this mission. In her professional life, she is the Director of Sales and Service in the data security space, where she leads with clarity, strategy, and a deep commitment to the people she serves. #

That same energy shows up here.
As Board President, Katie helps guide the vision of We Can Do This and ensures that the work we are doing is not just consistent, but meaningful for the families and kids who rely on it. She understands that food insecurity is not something happening somewhere else. It is happening right here in Lincoln.

And she is committed to being part of the solution.

Because of leaders like Katie, this mission continues to grow, more kids are supported each week, and more families feel seen and cared for.
