⛷️ Adaptive skiing changes lives.

🏔️ $50 can provide a 2-hour ski lesson, giving an athlete the chance to build confidence, gain independence, and experience the joy of being on the mountain.

As we approach our 4️⃣0️⃣th year of serving athletes of all abilities, we're grateful for the community that makes this work possible.

Join us during NH Gives and help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong, thrive and ensure that cost is NEVER a barrier to participation.

☀️ Meet Our Summer OT Fieldwork Students! ☀️

We're excited to welcome our Occupational Therapy Fieldwork students to NEDS for the next 1️⃣2️⃣ weeks! Throughout the summer, they'll work alongside our staff, volunteers, and athletes, gaining hands-on experience in adaptive sports and recreation while helping create opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

As they learn about adaptive sports and recreation, we're excited to learn from them through an occupational therapy lens. Their knowledge, insights, and fresh perspectives will help us continue to enhance our programs and better support the athletes and families we serve.

We look forward to an incredible summer of learning, growth, and adventure together. Be sure to give them a warm NEDS welcome when you see them!

Today we say goodbye to our Program Manager, Jason Lafontaine, as he begins a new adventure relocating to southern NH. 🏡

Over the past 4️⃣ years, Jason has been an great asset to NEDS. His dedication to our athletes, volunteers, and programs has made a lasting impact on so many within the NEDS community. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re grateful for everything he has contributed to the organization.

The good news — Jason plans to return as a volunteer whenever he can, so this isn’t truly goodbye! 🙌

As part of the transition, our new Program Manager, Adam Swank, has been working closely with Jason over the past month to ensure a smooth handoff heading into the summer season.

Please join us in thanking Jason for his years of hard work and wishing him the very best in this next chapter! ✨💥

Earlier this month, we were stoked to be an exhibitor at the 42nd Annual Brain Injury & Stroke Conference in Concord, NH.

It was a productive day for NEDS, with time spent connecting with healthcare professionals and peer organizations, while also attending several valuable educational sessions throughout the day.

These opportunities help strengthen our partnerships, deepen our understanding of participant needs, and support our ongoing work in adaptive recreation and sport.

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who stopped by the booth or connected with us during the conference.
