We lost a very special part of the NEDS family this week. Hans gave so many years of his time to our program and our student-athletes, and we are incredibly grateful for all he shared with us.

Volunteers like Hans are such an important part of what makes NEDS special. His dedication, generosity, and the memories he leaves behind will always be a part of our story.

Hans will be greatly missed by everyone at NEDS, the greater Lincoln-Woodstock and beyond communities. Thank you, Hans, for being part of our family. 💙

This is a full-time, seasonal position during the winter sports season and a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference through adaptive sports.

We squeezed in two more days of riding this week to accommodate our participants visiting from England! 🇬🇧

The fall really is the best time to ride. Just look at the colors out there! 🍂🍁🚴‍♀️

Tuesday we rode the Lincoln bike path, and today we took the Franconia Notch Path all the way back to NEDS. Two beautiful days, some great riding, and lots of smiles along the way.

We were pretty thrilled to hear, “The best biking I have EVER done—even able-bodied!”

I’d say we have a happy customer! 😊

Thanks for coming to ride with us, and we’ll see you in February for skiing! 🎿

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What a great day!

Sunday was the Smuttynose 5K & Half Marathon, and we are so grateful to the 7️⃣ amazing runners who ran and fundraised for NEDS!

Together, they brought in more than $7,000 to support adaptive sports and outdoor recreation at NEDS. 💙

A huge thank you to our runners for putting in the miles and to everyone who donated and helped make this possible. Your support helps us continue creating opportunities for people of all abilities to get outside, try something new, and break boundaries.

What a great day and what an incredible community! Thank you! 🙌

🏌️‍♂️ What a special way to spend a Friday! 🇺🇸

Last Friday, we gathered for our final Veteran golf day of the summer at the beautiful Pleasant Course at Omni Mount Washington Resort. The weather cooperated, the views were incredible, we had a delicious lunch from Ya Ya's, and most importantly, another wonderful day was spent together on the course. ⛳

We’re incredibly grateful to Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa and The Paul Sharpe Firecracker Memorial for making these days possible for our Veterans each summer. Your generosity gives our Veterans the opportunity to get outside, enjoy the game, and make memories together. 💚

Thank you for another unforgettable summer of golf! ⛳️

FLASHBACK FRIDAY 📸

Going way back to where it all began…

In the winter of 1987–88, NEDS held its first adaptive ski lessons at Loon Mountain. What started with a small group of instructors and a handful of athletes has grown into nearly four decades of adaptive sports and outdoor recreation.

And we're still breaking boundaries. 💙

40 years of NEDS is coming in 2027.

⛳️🎾 That’s a wrap on golf & pickleball for the season!

We finished out our last day with plenty of fun, laughs and a little something to take home. Every participant went home with a pair of NEDS sunglasses and a golf ball. 😎

A big thank you to Owl's Nest Resort for partnering with us and helping make golf and pickleball part of our summer program. We’re so grateful for your support and for the opportunity to get our community out on the green and court!

Thanks to everyone who joined us this summer. We had a blast!
