Getting to know your neighborhood library can be pretty sweet!

Eiseley Branch Library welcomed families from Belmont, Clinton, Educare, Lakeview and West Lincoln throughout September for a special Library Passport program. Families explored library cards, apps, storytimes and other resources, earning entries into a prize drawing along the way.

The month wrapped up Sunday with an ice cream celebration and a drawing for gift cards to local bookstores and grocery stores.

Congratulations to the Holiday family! Thanks to everyone who participated!

There’s a lot to be excited about in Lincoln’s future, including the new Central Library.

Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird announced during her annual State of the City Address that KZUM and University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries are planned partners in the new library.

They’ll join The Mill Coffee & Tea, which was previously selected for a café space.
