Organized in March of 2003, by Alisa M. Giddens and family, the foundation and agency rose out of the need to support those who care for others. Being a part of the “Sandwich Generation, (A generation that cares and support both aging parents, their children and grandchildren.), caregiving support agencies are on the rise. Alisa has personally experienced being a careg

iver, and she knows first hand the importance of having a support person or system available to meet caregiver needs. Gideon specializes in meeting the needs of caregivers with a caring team that provides reliable, individual personalized service. Giddens, received her Certificate as a Health Care Provider from Wyandotte, Henry Ford Hospital, where she also served as a volunteer. She has serviced the community in various capacities for over thirty plus years. She states that: “It is truly a blessing for a care recipient to intrust their life in the hands of a caregiver. Life is golden, caring for others is truly a Gift.” Gideon Gift is located in the Down River Area of Detroit, Michigan.
