Finding the Fabulous

Finding the Fabulous Finding the Fabulous Inc. is a nonprofit organization with the purpose to equip girls with the power of choice and empower girls to be changemakers.

The motivation for Finding the Fabulous is all in the statistics. 92% of teen girls would like to change something about the way they look. 75% feel depressed and guilty after spending just 3 minutes leafing through a fashion magazine. And only 2% of these girls would describe themselves as beautiful. We believe that the core of the problem is that 1 in 5 high school girls say they do not know 3 a

dults to whom to turn if they have a problem. We are providing a solution to this problem by intervening before they become a statistic. Through a summer camp, outreach programs and junior counselor training program, we are building a foundation to make a lasting connection. We are standing in the gap for the girls who have no voice. Our venture is run by fabulous volunteers and funded by faithful supporters who believe in our cause.
