With the total emphasis being on babies in low-income families, we provide education for parents on the importance of reading aloud and giving age appropriate books for babies as well as provide cognitive and intellectual stimulation with interactive toys. Families served by Clara’s Closet are able to spend their limited income on other essentials such as food and shelter. Families read together more often and interact more often by using educational toys making children better prepared to achieve their potential.
