Family and Friends - Come and join former members of the Tibbetts Memorial Park Committee for a BBQ on Saturday, August 4th from 4-7pm at the Gazebo lot - jct of Rte 11 and Pickeral Pond Road.

The Food and Entertainment is Free.
Donations will be graciously accepted.

Donations will be used by the White-Tibbetts Post to assist Veterans and their spouses(widows or widowers) in various programs.

MEMORIAL DAY - MAY 28TH - 11:AM
RE-DEDICATION OF TIBBETTS VETERANS PARK

WHITE-TIBBETTS POST AMERICAN LEGION AND TIBBETTS PARK REVITALIZATION COMMITTEE INVITE:

All Veterans and Service Organizations - Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4H, Religious Groups, etc. - to march in the Memorial Day Parade on Main Street in Limerick on May 28th at 11 AM. Flags and Banners would be appropriate. Fire Trucks as well as other vehicles that usually join in the parade are invited as well. Massabesic High School Band and ROTC will also be participating. There is still time to order a granite paver for $99 in honor of any veteran. These pavers will be installed in the park as soon as the ground is ready in the spring. For more info call Vickie at 727-0387.

Organizational Meeting:

Thursday, January 18th - Media Room - Limerick Municipal Building - 7PM

Tibbetts Veterans Park Revitalization Committee would like to extend an invitation to all organizations, businesses, and anyone interested in helping our committee to organize the Memorial Day Parade.

The land for the Tibbetts Memorial Veterans Park was donated 75 years ago by Minnie Walker. She donated the land in memory of Hermann K. Tibbetts, Jr. the first person(1 of 7) from Limerick to lose his life during WW II. The park was dedicated in May of 1945 to honor him and Veterans of all wars.
