Lima Regional Information Technology Alliance (LRITA) will hold their annual technology conference on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in downtown Lima, Ohio. Registration for the conference is now open.
Early bird registration for attendees is $10 for LRITA members and $20 for non-members. The price will increase by $10 after March 10, 2017. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day with catering by The Old Barn Outback. More information and on-line registration located at www.lrita.org.
LRITA will host keynote presenter: Darren Kall
Keynote Title & Summary: What to Do About Human Error in Security
In this talk Darren will clarify the causes of human error, show how cyberspace hackers are using a deep understanding of the psychology of people to succeed, and he will give specific recommendations for changing your model of human error so that new mitigation strategies can be produced and implemented to reduce human error in security.
As we did at last year's conference, LRITA will be hosting a special opening presentation on cyber security. The presentation will be given by the FBI in partnership with the Toledo Infragard Members Alliance. During this presentation, attendees will be updated on the hows and whys businesses are targeted and exploited through cyber attacks.
