Gears and Beers Gears and Beers is a Lima, Ohio based peloton that rides for Pelotonia.

Gears and Beers is an event to raise money for cancer research at The James Cancer Center. The Gears and Beers peloton riding in Pelotonia coordinate this event in an effort to maximize our time and energy to generate the huge amounts of money to kick cancer's ass! 100% of the money raised goes towards this one goal! We’re so excited to have 30 amazing riders registered in this Saturday’s Gears & Cheers 2026 ride! While registration is closed, we would absolutely love for our community to come out and cheer them on and be part of the fun. 🎉

Good news for families: Kids who didn’t register are still welcome to join us and enjoy all the off-bike activities! (For safety reasons, only registered participants can ride in the event.)

Activities include: Bounce houses, coloring & bracelet-making stations, and snack bar

Activity & snack passes ($10) will be available for purchase at the event (via Venmo or PayPal), so everyone can join in on the fun while supporting our riders.

Come out, bring your energy, and help us make Gears & Cheers an unforgettable day for our riders! 💚
