“If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.” — Dolly Parton 💖✨

Service is at the core of everything we do as a member of Circle K International, which is why we’re taking a moment to celebrate the ultimate model of a servant’s heart: Dolly Parton!

Dolly’s passion for giving back and her deep love of reading led to the creation of the Imagination Library, an incredible initiative that has gifted over 200 million free books to children worldwide, inspiring young minds to dream big and love learning. 📚🌟

Want to honor Dolly’s legacy and help spread the power of literacy in our own communities? The Carolinas District of CKI is hosting a Fueling Fantasy Book Drive! 📖🎉

Here is how you can get involved:
1️⃣ Donate: Bring new or gently used children’s books to your next CKI meeting.
2️⃣ Spread the Word: Share this post with your fellow CKI members and friends to boost our collection!
3️⃣ Have Fun: Test your Dolly knowledge and learn more about her legendary life with these fun Dolly activities hosted by TCEA: https://blog.tcea.org/dolly-parton-activities-925/

💖 Let's channel Dolly’s generous spirit and make a lasting impact, one book at a time. 💖

✨ Carolinas Alumni Spotlight: Big dreams start with a passion for service! 💙

For Johnathan Hicks (B.S., M.S.), participating in Circle K International was a defining chapter of his collegiate journey. Serving as the 2023–24 CKI Charter Club President at North Carolina Central University and stepping up as the 2024–25 Carolinas Lieutenant Governor, Johnathan dedicated his time to empowering members, strengthening clubs, and spreading impact across both North and South Carolina. 🦅🏛️

The core values he built through CKI, leadership, fellowship, and service, have guided every step of his path since. After graduating from NCCU and earning his Master of Science in Cell Biology and Physiology from UNC-Chapel Hill, Johnathan is now locking his sights on his next big goal: becoming an Optometrist! 🔬🎓

As he pursues a career in optometry, he aims to pair compassionate patient care with community service to expand access to eye care and help people see a brighter, clearer future. 👓🌟

Proof that when you lead with heart, the possibilities are endless! 🙌🔥

Alumni Spotlight: Kaitlin Cirillo! 💙🌏

From student leader to community advocate, Elon CKI alum Kaitlin Cirillo is a incredible example of how Circle K International builds leaders who continue to serve long after graduation!

Kaitlin's commitment to the Kiwanis family runs deep. During her time in high school and then through college, she dedicated herself to service and leadership at every level—serving as a Key Club International Vice President to a Distinguished CKI Club President, and then on to become a Distinguished Lt. Alumni Spotlight: Meet Chloe Tenn! 💙🌏 🗽

Circle K International shapes lives long after graduation! We are so proud to highlight Carolinas District alum Chloe Tenn, a graduate of North Carolina State University who is sharing how CKI prepared her for incredible professional and personal success.

Meet Katie Jones - A CKI ALUMNI! 🎓💙🐝

Looking back at college, joining Circle K International was easily the best decision I ever made. What started as checking out a club completely redefined my student experience—and set me up for everything ahead.

CKI provided unmatched value to my college career, allowing me to:

Lead with Impact: Serving at both the Club and District levels built a confidence I didn't know I had. 🚀

Grow Professionally: Programs like Next Up and milestones like Fall Call, DCON, and ICON expanded my world and sharpened my skills. 📈✨

Find My People: Beyond the resume, it gave me a lifelong family of incredible friends. 🤝❤️

Now, as a graduate stepping into this next chapter, the ROI of this organization is clearer than ever. The leadership, values, and global network I gained are fueling my next steps.

Thank you, CKI. 🪵💙 Live to serve, love to serve! 🐝
