šļø BIG NEWS COMING TO YOUR FEED! Introducing... Trash Talkinā Tuesdays! šļø
Harnett County is a beautiful place to live, work, and farm! From the banks of the Cape Fear River to our rows of thriving local crops. But thereās one thing thatās putting a serious dent in our county's natural beauty and our local economy: litter.
Itās time to talk trash. Literally.
Starting next week, we are launching a brand-new weekly series right here called Trash Talkinā Tuesdays!
Every Tuesday throughout the summer, weāll be dropping:
š Eye-opening facts about what litter actually costs North Carolina taxpayers.
š Real talk on how roadside trash directly threatens our local farmers, soil, and livestock.
š¢ Inside scoops on how we can keep our beautiful waterways and wildlife safe from pollution.
š Easy ways YOU can take actionācomplete with free cleanup supplies, ALL YEAR LONG!
We arenāt just pointing out the problem, we are building the solution. Protecting our agricultural communities and natural resources starts right in our own backyards, and it is as simple as grabbing a trash bag and conducting a local litter sweep.
Set your notifications, tell your neighbors, and stay tuned for our very first official Trash Talkinā Tuesday next week on June 2nd!
