Box 865, Lillian, AL 36549 This beautiful, free to all park is cared for and maintained totally by volunteers, many of whom are Master Gardeners, and supported totally by donations. The Park also offers many activities for the community to enjoy, including movies, music, and markets spring through fall. The Park's extremely popular light extravaganza, Christmas in the Park, runs the entire month of December. The Lillian Recreational Park believes we have the duty and responsibility to protect and enhance our environment for future generations. We believe that having a clean, sustainable, and accessible park improves the quality of life for every person in our community and that it positively impacts the environment. The Park is committed to preserving natural resources and wildlife habitats, protecting clean water and clean air, providing accessible open space for current and future generations, fostering sustainability through public engagement and education activities, and doing our part to help reduce the effect of climate change.

We are excited to launch our new Digital Literacy workshops at the Park! Funded by our grant from the AARP, we will be exploring a number of digital topics. Our first one is "Staying Safe in a High-Tech World" and explores AI fraud and identity theft. Both items of major concern. Come learn how to recognize the warning signs, avoid common traps and feel more confident about keeping your personal information safe.

Movies & Music in the Park begin next Friday night, June 5. Join us for a fun family movie, SpongeBob: Search for Squarepants and watch as SpongeBob follows a mysterious, swashbuckling ghost pirate known as the Flying Dutchman on a seafaring adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the ocean. The kids' activities will have a pirate theme, too!

Music will be by Jimmy Smith, a perennial Park favorite. Come enjoy his great music, beginning at 6:00.

Music and activities begin at 6:00. Movie begins at dusk.
