We love receiving your high quality donations. Those we can sell and give $ to our charities. What we don't love is broken, torn, stained or dirty donations. We have to pay to have these discarded and that means less $ to charity. With that in mind, there are also many things that don't sell any longer and therefore we cannot accept them. These are:
•Amoires
•entertainment centers
•china cabinets
•Collectible plates, Hummels, dolls, etc.
•Car seats, strollers, cribs, high chairs
•Old electronics including TVs, DVD players, VCRs, computers, monitors, and printers
•Headboards, footboards, mattresses, box springs
•House paint, household chemicals
•Oversized fitness equipment
•Particle board furniture
•Single shoes
•Text books

WHAT’S NEW, UPSCALE?
“But I was just there!”
We hear you. But at Upscale, that doesn't mean much. 😏
New donations arrive. New treasures hit the floor. Something sells, something else takes its place — and sometimes a new sale pops up while you weren't looking!
Furniture, fashion, books, art, collectibles, kitchen finds… and probably something you didn't even know you needed.
That's the fun of thrift shopping — no two visits are ever quite the same!
We're closed today, but the treasure hunt starts again Tuesday! 👀

TEXTURE, PLEASE! Fall fashion isn’t just about color — it’s about how it FEELS.
Suede. Velvet. Corduroy. Chunky knits. Embroidery. Leather. Faux fur. Interesting weaves and fabrics that make you want to reach out and touch them.
Secondhand shopping is the perfect excuse to mix textures, eras and styles — because your closet doesn’t have to come as a matching set either. 😉
This fall, add a little texture to your wardrobe.

🍂 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 — THE COLOR OF OCTOBER - If October had a color palette, you’d know it when you saw it. 🍁
But first… a little Friday SALE alert! 👀
🔥 ENDING TOMORROW — SATURDAY, OCT. 3!
50% OFF Coffee Tables & Mirror Tables — excludes those marked “New Arrival.”
50% OFF Shoes & Hats — all footwear (shoes, boots, slippers & sandals) + all hats!
Now back to October…
Rust. Amber. Pumpkin. Deep black. A little brass. Warm wood. And all those rich, cozy shades that make everything feel like fall.
And who says the October palette is only for your house? You can get into the fall vibe, too! A great pair of shoes, a hat, a cozy sweater, a handbag, a scarf… wear the season as well as decorate for it. 😉
You don’t have to redo the whole house — or the whole closet. Sometimes one little pop of October is all it takes.
At Upscale, fall doesn’t come in a matching set.
It comes one treasure at a time. 🍁
So tell us: What color says OCTOBER to you?

🍂 WELCOME, OCTOBER!
HOCUS POCUS… OLD THINGS, NEW TRICKS! 🪄
October has arrived, and around here, we believe we're all capable of a little magic.
A forgotten chair becomes the perfect reading spot.
A vintage scarf makes an outfit.
An old frame gets a brand-new purpose.
A pretty platter is suddenly waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.
And something completely strange? Well... sometimes that's the best find of all.
This month we're looking at Upscale a little differently — through HOME, FASHION & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. We'll play with fall colors and textures, get creative with old treasures, start getting the house ready for guests, and yes... Christmas may begin sneaking onto the shelves before October is over. 🎄👀
Because thrifting isn't only about finding something you need.
Sometimes it's about seeing what something could become.
So bring your imagination.
No potion required. 🪄

🧸 NEVER TOO OLD
⚠️ WARNING: FOR KIDS AGES 3–99 ONLY.
Dolls, toys, old friends and those little treasures that can instantly make a grown-up say, “OH! I had one of those!”
Because growing older is mandatory.
Growing out of toys? Highly questionable. 😏

Welcome to the part of Upscale where nostalgia refuses to act its age.
What childhood toy would you buy again in a heartbeat?

🍽️ SET THE TABLE
The table doesn't have to match. It just has to have personality.
Fine china beside a quirky pitcher? Absolutely. Vintage serving pieces mixed with everyday dishes? Even better.
Forget the perfectly coordinated catalog table.
Mix the old, the useful, the beautiful and the slightly unexpected.

Around here, mismatched isn't a problem. It's a decorating strategy. 😏
