Thanks to everyone’s generosity, over 50 brain tumor patients and their families will receive the financial support they need to help them fight their battle against brain cancer with dignity and less financial worry.

Meet our newest grant recipient, William. 💙
William was diagnosed with a Pilocytic Astrocytoma brain tumor on October 14th, 2022, at 9 months old. His mother first noticed his eyes twitching at 6 months old, resulting in an MRI, which discovered the brain tumor. William’s family immediately went to St Louis Children’s Hospital where they did a biopsy to confirm what type of tumor he had. The tumor itself is inoperable due to its location of encasing the Optic Nerve, Carotid Artery and Basilar Artery. In November, William had a chemo port installed and started chemo. He will continue to receive chemo till February 2024.
William is such a strong, happy little boy!! Despite the rigorous treatment and difficult side effects, he ALWAYS has a big smile on his face!
William’s family will use the grant to help offset the costs of weekly trip costs to St Louis. They are extremely grateful and thank all of the MMF supporters for making this possible. 💙 Keep William and his family in your thoughts and prayers! 🙏🏻
