Libertyville Cub Scout Pack 72

In honor of Memorial Day, the Pack will participate in the placement of flags at the Lakeside Cemetary graves in memory of military veterans on the 23rd.

Our Pack will then walk in the Libertyville Memorial Day parade on the 25th. Meet at the Metra lot by 9:15.

Both start at 9:30!

Last week, Troop 72 invited Pack 72 for a fun night of bowling and pizza!

The Webelos Den worked on their First Responder requirement. They learned basic first aid and practiced CPR!

For our December service project, Pack 72 volunteered at Feed My Starving Children. We had a great time packing food for those in need. We packed 96 boxes to be sent to Eswatini!

Our Arrow of Light Den, the Flaming Phoenixes, recently participated in a service project for the Mobile Food Pantry at the First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville on Saturday, February 15. The food comes from the Northern Illinois Food Bank. There were huge pallets that the volunteers divided up into 100 boxes/bags with all kinds of items: milk, eggs, breakfast sausage, bread, frozen veggies, yogurt (so much yogurt!), orange juice, chex mix, and frozen pizza. Approximately 100 families were served.

The March Pack 72 meeting will be moved to the 2nd Friday at the American Legion due to the Butterfield Winter Fest. See you on the 14th at 7 PM!
