Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From all of us at the Great Lakes Construction Association, we extend our gratitude to the fallen, their families, and all who have served.

It was perfect weather for the Fall Protection Stand Down at Abbott Park today! Providing safety education and demonstrations was a team effort, with lunch provided by AbbVie, tables and chairs provided by Camosy Construction, and a live rescue demonstration from the Libertyville Fire Department. We caught up with members providing Safety information and gear, Milwaukee Tool, One Way Safety, SwitchRail Safety Systems, National Lift Truck Inc., and Rolston Hogstrom!
Thank you to Abbott and AbbVie for organizing this important event to highlight Fall Safety education. Thank you to our OSHA Ambassador Alliance partners, OSHA and Lake County Building Trades, for being present and participating in the event!
