This morning we were proud to partner with Lake County Building Trades and Northeastern Illinois AFL-CIO at American Place Casino to distribute Labor Day meals to families! Thank you to American Place Casino for hosting at their site!

Together, our contractors and union partners came together—management and labor working side by side—to distribute Labor Day meals to families in our community.

Strong partnerships. Strong communities. Stronger together.

That’s a wrap on another incredible GLCA Annual Golf Outing at Geneva National!

It may have been the hottest day of the year, but even that was no match for our members! A great day on the course, even better company, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the people who make our industry so strong. Year after year, this outing brings GLCA members together outside of the job site to strengthen relationships, make new connections, and have a little fun along the way.

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat, supported and sponsored the event, and helped make this year’s outing another one to remember. We’re already looking forward to the next one!!

Construction continues on Lombard's new elevated water tower, a project that will strengthen the Village's water system for decades to come by improving reliability, maintaining consistent water pressure, and supporting future growth.

Behind every milestone is a team of professionals bringing their expertise together. Building stronger communities takes more than one company. It takes a team.

The Village of Lombard's new 1.5 million gallon elevated water tower along Butterfield Road is a major investment in the community's future. Once complete, it will strengthen the Village's water infrastructure, improve system reliability, help meet peak demand, and support continued growth for years to come.

We are especially proud to see so many GLCA members working together toward a common goal. Led by Boller Construction and Baxter & Woodman, this project is also made possible through the expertise of fellow members including Katco Development, Homestead Electrical Contracting, Manusos General Contracting, Thatcher Foundations, and many others.

This is what the GLCA is all about. Bringing together talented companies with different specialties to deliver projects that will serve our communities for generations.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
